Calvin Johnson presents a lot of daunting challenge for its opponents

Former Georgia Tech quarterback Taylor Bennett remembers his first impressions of Calvin Johnson.

During the first days of the Yellow Jackets' fall practice in 2004, Bennett says, he and his teammates thought the same Jim McMahon Jersey thing as they watched the true freshman wide receiver: You've got to be kidding me.

Bennett said:"We were just completely mesmerized. There was this one-handed catch. And his speed. I mean, he broke the vertical-jump record his first day at Tech. We were just like, 'Wait, who is this kid? Where did he come from, and how did we get him? Who paid this kid?' "

Fast-forward seven years and the Cheap NFL Jerseys questions haven't stopped when it comes to Johnson, the Lions' Pro Bowl wide receiver whose Transformers-inspired nickname - Megatron - hints at his freakish qualities.

Then here is the question: how to stop a 6-foot-5, 236-pound wideout with a 45-inch vertical jump, an 82-inch wingspan and a clocking of 4.35 seconds in the 40-yard dash?

That is the conundrum facing the 49ers today as they visit unbeaten Detroit (5-0) and the incomparable Johnson, 26, who has become the first receiver in NFL William Perry Jersey history with nine touchdowns in the season's first five games.

This season Johnson's on pace to amass 93 catches, 1,328 yards and 29 touchdowns, which would shatter the NFL record for receiving touchdowns in a season
Dick Butkus Jersey set by the Patriots' Randy Moss in 2007.

Niners cornerback Carlos Rogers, who faced Johnson each of the previous four seasons Womens Bears Jerseys as a member of the Redskins, says he's the ultimate migraine, a wideout who can toy with textbook coverage. Last year, Johnson had nine catches for 101 yards and three touchdowns against the Redskins. "He presents a lot of challenges, a big strong guy that can run," Rogers said. "Then you've got a quarterback who gets him the ball, no matter if he's covered or not. That's tough to defend."

Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Johnson, who outjumped safety Barry Church, cornerback Mike Jenkins and linebacker Sean Lee in the end zone in the Lions' 34-30 win at Dallas on Oct. 2.

However Bennett, who counts Johnson as a close friend, reveals his buddy does have a weakness. If all else fails, the Niners can always resort to name-calling - a foolproof way, Bennett says, of messing with Megatron. Click Mike Ditka Jersey to have a view of the full items of nice jerseys.

"He is Calvin Johnson Jr., and he just hates being called Junior," Bennett said. "So we tend to call him Junior from time to time."
